Technical Sales Manager - Europe
Vacant position. In line with our expansion plans, we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join us.
Key responsibilities:
- Sales of Borregaard LignoTech’s products and services to the animal feed industry, including pelleting aids, acidifiers and By-Pass protein technology
- Direct sales responsibility for existing customer base as well as accountability for new sales development in key growth territories
- Prepare a business plan for area of responsibility and execute the same
- Hands on work with commercial and integrated feed manufacturers to demonstrate the performance of BLT products in the customer’s plant
- Provide technical support to customers and business partners
- Direct involvement with customer’s purchasers, nutritionists, manufacturing and senior management to discuss the benefits of BLT Products
- Recruit, introduce and /or manage distributors and agents in the territory
- Participate in industry associations, trade shows and conferences. Be an active part of the industry
- Work with the global sales & marketing and technical team to develop new products and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Animal Science or Feed Manufacturing
- Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience in the feed industry or 3 years experience in feed manufacturing with a strong aptitude for sales
- Fluency in English and German, oral and written is essential
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the customers’ organization; purchasing, manufacturing, nutrition and senior management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as a team player within a cross-cultural, international organization
- Ability to travel within the region
- You must expect to travel 50% of your time
